Suppose there is need for a boiler plate View filter. Further suppose the SQL is complicated enough that average users may mess up the AND/OR/NOT groupings and the only real change is one parameter called MyCustomer. Is the view filter query wizard the only way to set/change view filter queries or is this interface exposed for manipulation via DXL?
Example:
((customerInclude includes GENERIC) OR (customerInclude includes MyCustomer))
AND NOT (customerExclude includes MyCustomer)
AND (isDone == TRUE) -- hides work on progress
AND (hideObject == FALSE) -- you can hide any object you want as well
In the above, I would like replace "MyCustomer" with 1-of-100 actual customers without starting from scratch each time with the filter wizard.
Is this possible or not?

You can create filters with dxl -- refer to help file. However, DOORS is not a relational database so SQL will not work.

I am only only using the term SQL loosely because I don't know what else to call it. Lets call it a filter string. I am using DOORS version 8.2 Where is this subject discussed in the DXL help file?
